Challenges

The masterplan called for a concave "swoop" with a civic building at the top of the Market Street extension.

Variable width street sections were desired to enhance the Cape character of the project.

Solutions

The street plan was designed and built. Is now being populated by buildings, and awaiting the civic structure at the top.

A "Parametric Street Section" was developed to accommodate the desired variabilities, and to support incremental building of the street over time.
